Spanish sandwiches

Spaniards adore this appetizer; a rare feast in this sunny country without sandwiches with a salad of crab sticks and capers.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 fresh baguette, 
  • 1 small pack of crab sticks, 
  • a couple of chicken eggs, 
  • 1.5 tbsp. l. capers, 
  • 3 – 4 tbsp. l. quality mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and allspice.

Procedure: 

  1. Grate hard-boiled eggs and slightly defrosted crab sticks on the finest grater you can find in the house. 
  2. Mix with the rest of the ingredients. 
  3. Cut the baguette into thin slices with a bread knife. 
  4. Each is cut with cooked salad. Place on a platter, garnish as desired, and serve.

Hot sandwiches with cheese and oatmeal

Very unusual and tasty sandwiches-tubes. You can cook these at least every day, but on the festive table, they will not go unnoticed!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 fresh toast bread, 
  • 1 cup oatmeal, 
  • 1 pack of processed cheese (thin square slices), 
  • 2 eggs, unflavored vegetable oil, and sea salt.

Procedure: 

  1. Roll slices of bread with a rolling pin into flat square cakes. 
  2. Put a thin slice of cheese on each, and wrap it in a tight roll. 
  3. Holding it with your fingers so that the roll does not turn around, dip it first in the egg beaten with salt, and then roll in the flakes. 
  4. In hot vegetable oil, fry all sides.

Sandwich “Mini Pizza”

If you don’t have time to bake pizza for the holiday, then prepare a plate of hot mini pizzas. You will need simple and inexpensive products, but the result will be amazing!

For this recipe, you will need: 

  • 1 fresh white loaf, 300-400 g sausages, 
  • 2 large tomatoes, 
  • 150 g hard cheese, 
  • 1 tbsp. l. chopped fresh garlic, 
  • 0.5 cups chopped dill, 
  • and parsley, 
  • and mayonnaise.

Procedure: 

  1. Cut sausages and tomatoes into small cubes, mix with grated cheese, herbs, and garlic, and season with mayonnaise to make a thick spread. 
  2. Cover the resulting mixture with slices of white bread, and bake in the oven until lightly browned.

Trout sandwiches

A plate of bright and appetizing sandwiches with lightly salted trout and fresh cucumber will undoubtedly decorate any festive table!

For this recipe, you will need: 

  • 1 fresh baguette, 
  • 100 g lightly salted trout, 
  • 2 fresh cucumbers, 
  • 1 processed cheese, 
  • 1 hard-boiled egg, 
  • a handful of olives, 
  • 1 tbsp. l. mayonnaise.

Preparation: 

  1. In a small bowl, mix the grated egg and cream cheese, finely chopped olives, and mayonnaise. 
  2. Cover the resulting mass with slices of bread, and decorate with cucumber slices and pieces of trout.

Three-layer sandwiches

A real masterpiece of sandwich art – three-layer canapés with chicken and mushrooms. Be sure to prepare for the holidays!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 toast bread, 
  • 200 g smoked chicken fillet or any sausage, 
  • 60 g marinated champignons, 
  • green onions, 
  • 70 g Dutch cheese, 
  • 2 – 3 small tomatoes, 
  • 10 quail eggs, 
  • 2 tsp. 
  • soy sauce and a jar of ready-made cheese sauce.

Preparation: 

  1. Cut out 30 circles from slices of bread with a glass. 
  2. Spread ten mugs on a large flat dish, grease with sauce, put chicken pieces, sprinkle with green onions and put pickled champignons on a thin plate. 
  3. Then cover with the second circle of bread, smeared with sauce on both sides. 
  4. On top, spread the slices of tomato, cheese, and the remaining slices of bread, in which you need to squeeze the middle to make a notch. 
  5. Lightly press each sandwich so that the layers stick together better, drive a quail egg into the holes, add salt, and bake in the oven.
