Let’s start honestly: the behavior of a minority of cyclists gives the rest of us a bad name;

As mentioned, as you read this article there are new rules and regulations for electric scooters. Public acceptance of this new mode of transport and the integration of Electric Scooters into existing transport networks are important factors in this ongoing conversation. A few bad apples won’t help us paint a bad picture of all phishing scams.

It is reasonable to give e-scooter users more rights if they are not seen as a nuisance by the rest of the public. This means that as a society we can do a lot to improve our image by following a few simple rules to reduce the likelihood of conflict.

So before self-destructing, let’s take stock of ourselves and become ambassadors of the electric revolution with these tips! Yes, the traffic rules also apply to you.

Now, that’s not a statement of fact. Why do so many e-scooter users act like traffic lights and traffic signs are just something to overlook or ignore? Do we agree that it is right not only to obey the same traffic rules as motor vehicles (current and future laws), but to act responsibly?

How do you support electromobility when people are stuck in traffic and waiting at the same red light? Don’t do it, not only because it’s wrong, but because it runs red lights, one-way lights, etc. because you can’t see it. It is clear that ignoring it can harm your health.

Tell us: the highway code also applies to electric cables;

Watch out for pedestrians;

Trust your common sense here (and we’ll pass all the jokes on your brilliant idea

Don’t treat everyone like an orange cone on the street in shared areas for pedestrians, cyclists and e-scooters. Your extra speed and mobility allows you to get in and out of crowds and just drive, but this is where you can come across as “dominant”. No, you should not pass people who are moving slower than you.

If you and a pedestrian are driving in the same space at the same time, slow down or follow them. Remember that not every crash ends well for everyone involved, so drive at the right speed for the conditions. Control your speed.

When it comes to speeding, always look, not just around people. No one is waving the white and white flag on your trails, so don’t treat this all like a race. If you must experience the full speed of your electric scooter, do so in a safe and controlled manner and remove it from your system. Then back to the top speed of around 20 km/h.

At top speed, the power to negotiate even small bumps increases and can be dangerous if you’re not careful (next on the list). There is an inverse relationship between speed and handling and each rider must find their own comfort zone. Just find it somewhere under “MAX SPEED”.

Don’t forget the extra battery drain that comes with high-speed driving. Rev it up to 5mph and you get more control and battery life, which greatly reduces the chance of a crash, which is good, right? Driving an e-scooter requires your full attention.

Translation: You zoomed in on your phone. We can’t believe we have to say this, but for some reason every scooter has two hands on the handlebars. We don’t know what future rules will say about riding an electric scooter while listening to music or making free calls, but we’re sure “two-handed riding” will be in the rules somewhere.

Again, common sense applies here. You should wait until your trip is over before posting photos of your lunch or changing your relationship status.

Hello, life goes fast. PS * No parking;

No, our keyboard isn’t broken and you know what we mean. Probably the most common complaint about Adult Electric Scooters among non-drivers is the most common habit of leaving scooters everywhere.

We did it. At Isin Wheel, we love scooters, we build them, and parking drives us crazy;

In every park, every street, and in front of every building, there are places that are clearly not designed for e-scooters (or anything else). Do not park your scooter where anyone can step on or otherwise reach it, or obstruct traffic.

Remember what we said about good thinking;

Ok, enough lessons for today. We’re sorry for the difficult love, but we truly believe we should bring everyone together. So let’s take control of what we can influence to make scooter integration as seamless as possible.
